Here is a description of my current classes.
Spin/Strength
A great combo of strength and cardiovascular training! This is a timed workout that includes approximately 25 minutes of strength training followed by a 25 minute ride. Each participant carries out the entire workout at their own station, and there is very little, if any, sharing of equipment. Both parts of the workout can be adjusted to meet one’s fitness level and needs.
Strength Training
Focusing primarily on maintaining and building muscle, each participant will carry out the suggested workout at their own station at their own pace. The intensity of the workout will depend on the participant’s preference and needs. There is very little, if any, sharing of equipment.
Young at Heart (YAH)
It is never too late to get stronger and more fit! This class is designed with seniors in mind and will help you build strength and improve mobility, coordination and balance. You’ll exercise in a comfortable group setting with enjoyable music. Max of 8 participants.
A few nuts and bolts to highlight:
- 6 week series starts on Tuesday, January 11th and ends Friday, February 18th.
- $72.00 for 1 class/week – $135.00 for 2 classes/week
- The cost of a drop-in class when available is $15.
- A missed class can be made up in any other class (space permitted).
- One must pay the full cost of the series in order to reserve a spot in the class, or pay the drop-in fee times the number of classes you are able to attend (space permitted).
- Please make checks out to Jess Storey or pay by Venmo.
- If possible, please reach out if you know that you will be absent from class. This is so helpful when planning and when letting others know if there is space for a make-up.
- In the case of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, I will reach out via email and/or text with a cancellation notice. The notice will also be posted on the website. Often, if Boquet Valley Central School is closed, StoreyFIT is closed.
Additionally, here are a few virtual classes that you can take advantage of at home. As always, be safe and work hard.
